Mission
The National Youth Agency is an administrative authority under the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, whose mission is to ensure the implementation of state policy in the field of youth work, youth programs, human resources, work methodologies and research in the youth sector through:
- Contributing to the strengthening of the youth sector, implicitly the community of youth workers, youth centers, youth organizations and youth councils, by organizing qualitative youth work and implementing national/state youth programs.
- Providing opportunities for professional and personal development of youth workers, youth leaders and activists in the field, as well as promoting youth programs, projects and initiatives among young people, including those with limited opportunities (vulnerable), to become active citizens civically and involved in the development of communities.
The mission of the directorate is to implement youth policies and programs, to ensure the process of organizing and conducting funding contests for youth organizations and initiative groups, as well as to ensure the monitoring and evaluation of funded youth projects. At the same time, it develops tools and platforms for communication and consultation with young people, youth organizations, beneficiaries of youth programs and projects in order to increase their participation in the development, implementation and evaluation of youth policies and programs.
The Directorate contributes to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the National Youth Agency by promoting and implementing policies in the field of youth services and work, ensuring effective communication with public authorities and entities in the field of youth in the sense of consolidating efforts to develop the support infrastructure of the youth sector and facilitating developing the network of institutions providing youth services.

Contribuie la realizarea sarcinilor Agenției Naționale pentru Tineret prin implementarea programelor și proiectelor în domeniul tineret derivate din necesitățile de dezvoltare ale tinerilor din Republica Moldova.
